By 2025, GWEC expects more than 1,210 GW of installed onshore and offshore wind capacity around the world. Our case study outlines Edward’s journey from intern to recruitment consultant. He initially joined as part of his internship programme during his studies at university. He was studying Business Management at Northumbria University.

He worked for JLER as part of the 12-month placement programme we offered. It gave him the opportunity to develop his skills including research, client and candidate management, as well as an increased understanding of the renewable energy industry and working in a team. He worked effectively and achieved a number of placements; Once his internship completed, Edward focused on his final year of studies and continued to work for JLER part time.

This demand of studying and working was something that Edward chose to do and excelled at.  We offered him an unconditional employment offer once he graduated. Edward completed his studies and achieved a First Class Honours in Business Management. He really is a superstar!
