April was a busy month for the JLER team with a whirlwind trip for 3 days to Copenhagen. We attended WindEurope’s annual event, 25-27 April – the home of wind energy. Over 10,000 visitors descended into the Bella Centre over the course of the 3 days and over 500 companies showcased their products and services on the exhibition floor.

It was a great opportunity for JLER to network effectively and forge new partnerships. We thrived on seeing long-standing clients who have been part of our growth journey. We covered a lot of ground whilst learning so much more about the future of wind energy.

There are so many benefits to attending trade shows here are some of our key reasons why our team ensures we attend key industry shows.

Connecting with prospective customers

The key advantage of attending trade shows is that it creates an opportunity to meet and connect with prospective clients in person rather than behind a screen or over the phone. The sales process can be more of a challenge when it comes to a more traditional approach via phone and email.

Sometimes you can be just another person, whereas when you meet face to face, a far greater personal impact can be achieved.

Discover and learn about industry developments

Attending trade shows means you are at the heart of learning all about businesses’ latest developments and innovations.

You can learn about how companies are spear heading the latest developments in technology and innovations and how this impacts the wider industry.

Enhancing existing client relationships

As well as providing an opportunity to develop partnerships with prospective clients, attending trade shows also creates a platform to strengthen existing partnerships. Nothing can really replace the importance of face-to-face contact.

In a world where technology has enabled remote communication to be maximised during and post covid, you really can’t undervalue the true impact of face-to-face communication.

Building your company’s presence

Creating and developing awareness of your brand is invaluable when it comes to attending trade shows.

It offers the opportunity to communicate and showcase your expertise as you can share your knowledge and convey your skills and understanding of the industry you operate in.

Create new business opportunities

Forging new partnerships is an essential part of networking. Connecting with new prospects encourages a valuable approach to increasing sales or at least helps to plant seeds of a new business relationship.

Sales are the integral to increasing your bottom line, and trade shows can be the perfect opportunity to take advantage of this.

They provide an opportunity to meet with both existing and potential clients in person.
